J.K. Adams has been designing, manufacturing, and distributing wood products in the same factory and location in Dorset, Vermont since 1944.   Their finished products require cutting down live trees.  However, they are very aware that their existence depends on maintaining and improving the health of the North American hardwood forests.  They use lumber that is selectively harvested from managed forests where the trees are cut to make room for more trees to grow.   J.K. Adams stands behind the products they make.  If a product does not live up to expectations in material, workmanship, or function for five years, they will replace it with no questions asked.
